SpaceTime Head All module

10 HP common controller

Head All

Head All controls every connected Head together without becoming another playhead.

Placement

Place one Head All immediately left of the furthest Head. It is the far-left, source-only terminal and does not change Head numbering. A correctly paired Head-side Glue bridge may sit between it and the Heads. Duplicate or misplaced Head All modules break the chain.

The Link light is green when Head All sees a valid path to the instrument and dark when it is disconnected.

Common transport

Control or inputAction
StartStart or resume every connected Head. The input also becomes the common Sustain/Enable gate.
StopStop every connected Head immediately.
AdvanceForce one transition on every connected Head.
ResetReturn every Head to the First stage of its active region.
Strobe inputLoad each Head from the common Address value.

Common settings

Address, address source and mode, Direction, clock source, Div/Mult, Time CV amount, and Loop are copied to every Head when the Head All control changes. They are commands, not permanent locks: an individual Head can diverge afterward.

Normalled inputs

InputBehavior
AddressCommon external address for Heads without a local Address cable.
CLKCommon external clock for Heads set to External whose local CLK is unpatched.
TimeCommon timing modulation for Heads without a local Time cable.

Patching the corresponding input on an individual Head overrides the common normal for that Head.

MIDI

Fixed MIDI channel 9 broadcasts the Head CC map through CC 0–12, whether or not the Head All panel is installed. CC 13 is ignored because Display ownership is intentionally exclusive. The MIDI channel controls all eight Head slots; only connected Heads can act on the commands.
